Oil Vinegar
Frozen product.
Edamame, or pods of young, green soybeans, is a popular appetizer served in most Japanese restaurants. Due to its early picking, edamame is soft, not hard and dry like the ripe soybeans used to make soy milk and tofu. The word edamame in Japanese means "bean sprig". Although the pod itself is not edible, it adds flavor. Each usually contains 2-3 grains.
It works great with sea salt as an appetizer or snack, and as an addition to rice dishes and salads. Equally tasty hot and cold. It is a good choice for vegetarians, vegans and anyone who wants to eat healthy.
