Ssamjang paste (pronounced ssamdziang - ssam in Korean means to wrap) is a mixture of gochujang paste, doenjang paste and spices. Wrapping its name comes from its use, i.e. all kinds of dishes in which we wrap various ingredients in lettuce or sesame leaves. This paste is also used as a dip for meats and vegetables.
